Townsy is built by a small team of web developers and marketers who grew up in small towns. We've spent more than a decade building websites and helping companies around the globe spread the word about their products, and a couple of years ago we took on a website rebuild for a small town in northwestern Minnesota.
During that project we discovered that small towns across the country were facing the same challenges as our client – outdated websites, tight budgets, and one person wearing a dozen hats. We decided we wanted to help.
Since most of us hail from small towns ourselves, the mission of Townsy is personal: make websites for small towns that are affordable, easy to use, helpful to residents, and enable the promotion of the attractions, events, and businesses that make these towns incredible, fun to visit, and fulfilling to live in.
